Abstract @ Ignatian

I’m deeply thankful to Ignatian Literary Magazine at the University of San Francisco for including my artwork "Abstract" in Volume 37. It’s a quiet joy to see my piece held within the pages of a publication that feels so thoughtful, reflective, and open to the many shapes creativity can take.

"Abstract" was born from a moment of stillness—a need to let emotion take form without narrative, without name. It came together in layers, intuitively, like memory surfacing through color and texture. To have it received and shared in a space that honors the contemplative and the poetic feels especially meaningful.

This kind of space—where art meets language, where vulnerability and imagination are welcomed—feels rare and important. I’m honored to have "Abstract" find a home among such voices, and grateful to the editorial team for the care with which you bring this magazine into being.

Sometimes a piece travels farther than we expect. Thank you for giving it room to breathe, and for inviting it into conversation with your readers.
