Bathing renders the female form in a state of quiet dissolution, where body and seascape blur into one another. Using a restrained palette of cerulean and soft greys, the work evokes a liminal space—part dream, part memory—where identity is fluid and the boundaries between self and environment dissolve. The delicate linework, reminiscent of classical studies yet ethereal in execution, captures a fleeting gesture suspended between emergence and retreat. In its simplicity, the piece gestures toward the mythic, recalling ancient figures of water and transformation, while remaining rooted in an intimate, modern sensibility.
