This drawing is my personal reinterpretation of La Danseuse by Pierre-Paul Prud’hon. I chose to work in charcoal and white chalk on toned paper, closely following Prud’hon’s approach to light, form, and atmosphere. His original study, likely drawn from life, wasn't tied to a specific painting but seems to embody a timeless vision of grace — something I wanted to explore and respond to in my own way.
