Pink study

This painting explores the boundary between object and emotion, using the form of a strawberry as both anchor and vessel. Rendered in soft pinks with minimal contrast, the fruit drifts in a field of color nearly identical to its own—a visual echo of childhood, sweetness, or fleeting sensory impressions.
The strawberry, stripped of context, becomes symbolic rather than edible. It suggests taste and texture, but also nostalgia and abstraction. The seeds act as tactile interruptions in an otherwise fluid surface, anchoring the viewer in detail while the rest dissolves into hue.
